Fatme Mouchref Hamasni

Dentist and Assistant Professor

Fatme is a Dentist and Assistant Professor who holds a Ph.D. in Periodontology and is specialized in Periodontology and Implantology. She also received her International Diploma in Dentistry from the University of Monastir, Tunis and a postgraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Marseille (Aix-Marseille University), France.

Upon her return to Lebanon, Fatme started lecturing at the Lebanese University (LU) where she founded and headed the Department of Periodontology at the Faculty of Dentistry. She was also the former Director of the post-graduate program at the LU. Additionally, she is a founding member and the current President of the Lebanese Society of Periodontology, a fellow member of the International Team of Implantology and the International College of Dentists. Fatme represented Lebanon in the South European North African Middle Eastern Association for Implantology and Modern Dentistry.

Fatme is a member and a volunteer in several social associations including Nabad (Pulse) Organization for Peace and Humanity. In addition to that, she has won several international awards and has produced many researches, studies and articles.

Why am I a candidate?

I believe it is time to reject the existing political situation that has taken the country hostage in the hands of external parties, and to enforce the Constitution to achieve Social Justice.

As a Member of Parliament, I pledge to work on the development of legislations that would reflect modern educational policies.

Family status: Married and a mother of 3 children
